Elizabeth Wozniak

DVM

Dr. Elizabeth Wozniak joined the Annapolis Cat Hospital and Bay Ridge Animal Hospital team in October of 1999. She holds two bachelor's degrees from the State University of New York at Binghamton; one in biology and one in anthropology. Dr. Wozniak earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Michigan State University.  Her area of professional interest is in feline medicine. She is passionate about veterinary care and truly enjoys watching her patients grow.

Dr. Wozniak shares her home with many animal companions, including her cats Junior, Frankie, Maurice, Howard, Bindi, Louie, Hoover, and her loving dog Addie. In her free time, Dr. Wozniak enjoys knitting, reading, photography, and gardening.

Michelle Rudd

Medical Director & Co-Owner

Dr. Michelle Rudd returns after 8 years to Bay Ridge Animal Hospital and Annapolis Cat Hospital as the new Medical Director. Dr. Rudd received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000 and after graduation completed a one-year small animal medical and surgical internship at Veterinary Referral Associates. Dr. Rudd has practiced in Anne Arundle County for over 15 years, and her areas of professional interest are ultrasound and client education.

Having grown up with animals, Dr. Rudd always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian and has worked in the veterinary field since high school. Dr. Rudd currently has her two young cats, Carlson and Nemo, Bertha the red-eared slider turtle, and a senior dog named Racer-X that she adopted from Bay Ridge Animal Hospital 13 years ago! She currently resides in Howard County with her husband Joe, and her two teenage children, Joseph and Bryn. When she is not working, Dr. Rudd loves to cheer on her children in wrestling, rugby, cross-country, and track. Dr. Rudd is an avid Washington Capitals fan and loves to attend games.

Marianne Martin

DVM

Dr. Martin is a native of Massachusetts and received her Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Vermont in 1985. After graduation, she worked in immunology medical research in Boston for several years and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications. She has always loved animals and medicine and decided to pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Martin received her degree from Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993 with a thesis involving the maturation of equine oocytes in vitro. After graduation, she worked in several small animal practices before moving to Plano Texas. She practiced in Plano from 1997-1998 and then returned to join the staff at Slade Veterinary Hospital where she practiced from 1999-2024. She also served on the board of directors for NEADS (a nonprofit service dog provider) from 2005-2007. Dr. Martin recently relocated to Maryland and is very excited about joining the team at Annapolis Cat Hospital and Bay Ridge Animal Hospital.

Dr. Martin’s professional interests include ultrasonography (abdominal and echocardiology), canine reproductive medicine, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She values forming relationships with her clients and getting to know their pets so she can provide the best care and advice for each individual.

In addition to her professional life, Dr. Martin has three adult children, a corgi named Dixon, and a border collie named Clover. She enjoys participating in outdoor activities with her dogs, traveling, and hiking. She is very excited about exploring and experiencing everything that Maryland has to offer.

Michelle Tabisz

DVM

Dr. Michelle Tabisz is an associate veterinarian at Bay Ridge Animal Hospital/Annapolis Cat Hospital. Dr. Tabisz received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Her professional interests include surgery and geriatric medicine.

After graduation, she moved to Australia and started her veterinary career in mixed animal practice. She worked on all species, small and large, including Australian wildlife. After living the Aussie lifestyle for over seven years Dr. Tabisz decided it was time to move back closer to family and return home to Maryland.

Now settled in Maryland, Dr. Tabisz adopted a geriatric rescue cat named Carol. When she is not in the office, she enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures, participating in sports leagues, going to the gym, watching sports, and cheering for the Orioles and Buckeyes!

Norella

General Manager

Norella joined the Annapolis Cat Hospital/Bay Ridge Animal Hospital team in August of 1998. She enjoys working with the team and helping them grow their skills and knowledge. When she is not working, she can be found training or trialing her dogs in scent work events. She also enjoys camping and watching local sporting events.

Jason D.

Veterinary Technician

Jason has worked at Annapolis Cat Hospital/Bay Ridge Animal Hospital for over 10 years. He finds it truly rewarding to see the positive final outcomes in the veterinary world and hopes to own his own business one day. He shares his home with two cats and one dog and enjoys fishing and all things outdoors in his free time.

Kristin B.

Veterinary Technician

Kristin B. joined the Annapolis Cat Hospital/Bay Ridge Animal Hospital team in 2018. Her favorite part of working in the veterinary field is watching the pets in the hospital’s health improve. She is currently in between pets at the moment and on the lookout for her next furry best friend.

Lester L.

Veterinary Technician

Lester Latino earned his degree in Zootechny from the Faculty of Animal Science at the National Agrarian University in Nicaragua, Central America, graduating in 1999. With 12 years of experience in animal health for large species, including cattle, horses, goats, pigs, and alpacas, Lester has established a solid career in the field. He spent 5 years as an advisor for the Livestock Genetics Improvement Project in Nicaragua and 7 years as an independent technician in agricultural development programs.

In December 2023, Lester joined the Bay Ridge Animal Hospital team. Outside of work, he is passionate about soccer, baseball, and music. He resides in Edgewater, MD, with his wife, Julissa, and their children, Andrés, Angelo, and Maria Belén. He remains in close contact with his youngest son, Emmanuel, who lives in Nicaragua. Lester lives by the motto: "The difficult is done; the impossible is attempted."

Mary M.

Veterinary Technician

A long-time resident of Annapolis, Mary joined the Annapolis Cat Hospital/Bay Ridge Animal Hospital team in September of 1999. She has lived in Annapolis since she was 9 years old and her family has had many pets over the years. She shares her home in Annapolis with her husband and their Chiweenie dog.

Veterinary Technician

Mike has been a part of the Annapolis Cat Hospital/Bay Ridge Animal Hospital team for 17 and a half years. He has been with and around animals his entire life and truly enjoys working with cats, dogs, their parents, and the team at the hospitals.
